Some of us are focusing on the main project, meanwhile other members are working on the other parts of the project, like doing FOL work or even doing the excersices planned on moodle.
We hope we can end the project this week, so we have time to perfect the program, and do other various things, like installing the HMI.
The HMI is a touch-screen which we will use to display info.
Those of us who are with the part of the exercises that we have in moodle to deliver, we have connected two PLC'S to the two computers to advance faster in the challenge. Once the exercises are done, we need to explain to the partners how we have done so that when the test arrives, we all do it well. The PLC has 16 digital inputs, 16 digital outputs + analog inputs and outputs.
On your computer we have a program called " TIA Portal V13, that we use to program the programs that send us. Then once programmed, we connect it by network to the PLC to simulate.
In the princial job we had many troubles like:
- The wiring was messy.
- Many of pneumatic tubes had leakes.
- The engines does not work.
- The program inside the automata was corrupt.
- Most parts of the model were broken.
- The HMI is impossible to connect with the TIAportal program.
- The sensors wasnt detec how they should it.
To correct the errors that have arisen we have joined the group and we have started to talk to know how to correct them once we did that we have gone step by step to go correcting it also this Friday we have examination and we are a little nervous to see how we get , but we're confident we're going to do well. the model of the project is giving us problems but thanks to the team we were able to fix it. The following challenges we will try to improve and learn so that we can get better
On the part of "IKASEMPRESA" last week we went to a Iurreta school to an event that was organized for the students that these year are going to make a imaginary company in this asignature. There they explained to us what this project is based on and they taught us different projects that people had done.
The next week in class we have to create a company with an innovative idea that could come true later. Our group has decided to make a hands-free access system to enter to the portal or our own home. This system is effective for those times when we forget the keys or simply do not want to ger our hands on.
